Since Aug. 1 TV commercials have reminded students that it’s back to school time. Now that the semester has started, syllabus week has left most college students with that ‘I’m-going-to get-an-A’ mentality or the feeling that you’d better secure an open desk in the library early in the semester. Either way, it’s important to figure out how to organize yourself so you’re not overwhelmed with the fall course load and any extra activities you may join.

Recently, Seton Hall published photos dating back all the way to the 1850's that show some of the activities that the Seton family got up to almost 2 centuries ago. The over 150 year old photos show the family of William Seton II, the eldest son of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, at times resting and other times posing with his relatives. The album consists of over 51 photos that show the family at their home Cragdon Cottage, a place that is now known as the Bronx.

Everyone wants a perfect relationship, but maybe not four of them. On Friday, April 25 "The Other Woman" was released in theaters and topped the box office with a comedy trio coming to the screen creating drama and laughs.
Seton Hall is partnering with the MidAtlantic Opera to co-present a fully staged performance of Purcell's "Dido and Aeneas," conducted and stage directed by Dr. Jason Tramm. The production runs from May 1-4 at the South Orange Performing Arts Center.
The Tribeca Film Festival is an annual event premiering breakout films in New York City. This year's festival ran from April 16-27. Over 175 films were shown in a number of genres across seven categories including the World Narrative Competition, World Documentary Competition, Spotlight, Viewpoints, Midnight, Storyscapes and Short Film Programs. These films were selected from a broad spectrum of both known and unknown writers and directors.
