A unique step into the shoe industry

You know him as the founder of Vivid-Visionz and he may soon be known as the Christian Louboutin of customizable shoes.

Sophomore Nay-Quan Bloomer, a liberal arts and science major with an art and design minor, is taking a bold step into the shoe industry customizing pairs ranging from stilettos to Timberlands with designs ranging from cartoons to florals.

“I took my art off the canvas and onto shoes,” Bloomer said.

Bloomer is collaborating with CMB Kicks of South Orange to design a pair of Biggie and Tupac inspired shoes in addition to a Kanye West-inspired pair. And of course, a look into the future will show a VividVi- sionz pair of kicks.
