Seton Hall women’s basketball returned home to Walsh Gymnasium on Wednesday after a 2-game road trip to host local rival St. John’s. With a combined 56 points in the victory, Andra Espinoza-Hunter and Lauren Park-Lane, who scored 30 points for the second consecutive game, propelled the Pirates to victory, 84-79.

No. 24 Seton Hall hosted the UConn Huskies Saturday afternoon in an exciting overtime win for the Pirates, 90-87. Tyrese Samuel returned to the bench for the first time since December 12th when the team faced off against Rutgers. Alexis Yetna was expected to play, but was hit in the head with a pass in practice and sat for precautionary reasons.

Seton Hall’s 12-5 conference record was good enough to see them finish third behind Marquette and the University of Connecticut, but they fell short in the Big East Tournament after losing to Creighton in the first round.
