Seton Hall women’s basketball guard Jada Eads announced Saturday on Instagram that she is transferring to Tennessee, becoming the latest Pirate to move on as the program continues to reshape their roster this offseason.
Although she’s leaving, Eads made a name for herself while in South Orange. She earned All-BIG EAST First Team honors in 2024-25 and was named the MBWA Division I Rookie of the Yearalso being named to the BIG EAST All-Freshman Team and the All-Met Second Team.
During the 2025-26 season, Eads started all 16 games she played before suffering a season-ending ACL injury at DePaul on Jan.17. Before the injury, she averaged 10.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game while leading the Pirates in scoring three times. She reached double figures in 10 games and recorded a double-double earlier in the season as well
One of her top performances came on Dec. 22 at Creighton, where she finished with 18 points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals. She also put up 13 points, 10 rebounds and five assists at Princeton on Dec. 2, showing she can impact the game in multiple ways.
Eads will now join Tennessee, adding to the number of former Pirates also joining the SEC. She will now play in the same league as former teammates Jordana Codio at Georgia and Zahara Bishop at Auburn.
Eads was a key playmaker and one of the team’s most reliable scorers when healthy, as replacing her production will be a challenge as the Pirates look ahead to the 2026-27 season.
