Seton Hall women’s basketball will officially lose one of their top players, as Jordana Codio announced on her Instagram on Friday that she is transferring to Georgia after one season with the Pirates.
Codio made an immediate impact during the 2025-2026 season. She played in all 32 games and made 26 starts, leading the Pirates with 12.5 points per game while adding 4.3 rebounds. She scored in double figures 18 times and had six games with 20 or more points.
Her best performance came in the BIG EAST Tournament quarterfinal, where she scored a career-high 35 points against St. John’s, the second-highest scoring game in program history in the conference tournament. She was named to the All-Tournament Team and earned three BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll selections throughout the season.
Before arriving at SHU, Codio spent three seasons at Texas, where she played a limited role off the bench due to injury. TheHall gave her a bigger opportunity, and she quickly became one of the team’s top options.
After a breakout season, Codio’s move will leave a big hole in the Pirates lineup for next year.
