Seton Hall men’s basketball added another piece to their frontcourt with the addition of 6-foot-9 forward Ilay Dolinski for the 2026-27 season.
Dolinski, a Tel Aviv, Israel native, arrived in South Orange this week and has already begun working out on campus, according to Jerry Carino of the Asbury Park Press. The 21-year-old joins the Pirates after spending last season playing professionally in Israel.
During the 2025-26 season, Dolinski played in 20 games for Ironi Kiryat Ata in the Israeli Basketball Premier League, which is the highest level of professional basketball in the country. He averaged 7.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 0.9 blocks while playing 17 minutes per game.
Earlier this summer, Dolinski was rumored to be joining the University of Tulsa’s roster. ESPN NBA Draft analyst Jonathan Givony reported that Dolinski had committed to the Golden Hurricanes, but he was never added to the university’s official 2026-27 roster.
Instead, he will join head coach Shaheen Holloway and a SHU team that has continued to reshape its roster throughout the offseason.
Dolinski gives the Pirates another strong option at power forward alongside Devin Williams, Terry Copeland and Abdulai Fanta Kabba. His professional and international experience gives the team another seasoned contender heading into the 2026-27 season.
