Ace of Hearts: Reganne Camp plays for more than herself

Thompson launches clothing line ‘Aspire’

Baseball is a game of chess. Each pitch in every at-bat is a different way to attack the opposing team. Despite it taking a lot of physical skill to be a prominent player in the sport, the mental game is what widens the gap of the competition.

Allender developing into consistent presence

The Allender family is not unaccustomed to the game of softball, especially playing it in a blue and white uniform at the collegiate level. Baylee Allender was raised by a former Creighton Bluejay in her mother, Teir and watched her older sister Kelsey follow suit as she went on to play for Creighton between 2013 and ‘16. Playing softball in Omaha, Nebraska seemed almost inevitable for Baylee as well, but the sophomore infielder chose instead to continue her softball career wearing the blue and white of Seton Hall University instead.

Kness credits team for individual success

It is easy to get lost in transition. Change is difficult and being able to cope with a new environment in a swift manner is an impressive accomplishment. However, progressing into that new period, and continually breaking down the boundaries is what separates the good from the great – and Mia Kness is great.
