Winless streak continues with tie

Prior to Tuesday afternoon's game in Old Westbury, N.Y. against NYIT, five out of the Pirates' last six games were decided by no more than a run. They continued this trend at President's Field, this time by way of a 12-12 draw.

Baseball ready for cellar dwellers

Following a failed attempt at a ninth inning comeback against Wagner College, the Seton Hall baseball team will look at Notre Dame this weekend as a chance to move forward.

Recruits and schedules set for soccer

As of April 9. the Seton Hall men's and women's soccer teams have gained depth as the Athletic Department announced that the men's program signed two recruits while the women's squad inked five players to National Letters of Intent.

Lack of pitching key in loss

The Pirates' rally fell short when they left the tying run on third base with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning in a 7-6 loss to Wagner on Wednesday at Owen T. Carroll Field.

Hall looks to erase last Cincy loss

It was the 10th inning in the final game of the season last year when Cincinnati Bearcat junior Lance Durham broke a 5-5 tie with a single through the right side of the infield.

Late comeback leads to victory

With four runs in the bottom of the eighth inning, the Pirates (11-14, 1-5) came from behind to beat the Fairleigh Dickerson Knights 6-5 on Wednesday. Senior Chris Spagnuolo brought in the winning run with a hit up the middle that scored redshirt senior Chris Fontenelli.
