Hazell breaks record but not the Golden Eagles

____simple_html_dom__voku__html_wrapper____>Senior Jeremy Hazell's four three pointers were enough for him to break the all time Big East career record for shots made beyond the arc, but was not sufficient enough to carry the Pirates as they fell to Marquette 73-64. The Hall's second straight loss leaves their record at 11-16 (5-10). Six minutes into the game the Pirates took their first lead, 11-10, on a layup by Senior Jeff Robinson.

Late run not enough as Pirates fall to No. 14 Villanova 60-57

Senior Jeremy Hazell's three point shot with seconds remaining bounced off the rim and out as the Pirates fell to the No. 14 Villanova Wildcats 60-57. The Hall finished the game on a 9-3 run but was not enough as their record goes to 11-15 overall and 5-9 in the Big East.

Rematch against Rutgers

After losing to Rutgers for the first time since 2008, the Pirates head to Rutgers on Saturday in a rematch of their 66-60 loss earlier this season. The Scarlet Knights' record is 13-11 overall and 4-8 in Big East games this season.

Pirates think 'Pink'

On Feb. 16, the Seton Hall will be hosting its fifth annual Pink Zone game, matching up against the Golden Eagles of Marquette University.

Rebounding proved to be the difference in the Pirates' 59-41 defeat to the No. 19 Georgetown Hoyas on Saturday.

Pirates fail to climb mountain

The men's basketball team was dropped in Morgantown Wednesday night, 56-44, losing to No. 25 West Virginia for the seventh straight time, dating back to February 2006.

New student section altered

Student sections are normally the most notable part of a college basketball arena, but at the Prudential Center, the students are overshadowed by a tarp that covers first three rows of the section creating a buffer between the students and the opponent's bench.

Where the 'track' leads from here

It was a normal Wednesday for the Seton Hall track and field teams on Feb 24, 2010. Practice had gone on as usual. Then, the athletes were called down to the new coach's suite to meet with Seton Hall administrators.

Questions still surround AD search

In an effort to find another missing piece to the jigsaw puzzle of Seton Hall athletics, recently promoted University President, A. Gabriel Esteban, notified students via email on Friday that a search committee has been assembled with the goal of establishing a new Director of Athletics.
