Campus Groups is replacing Engage as Seton Hall’s student engagement platform, centralizing access to organizations, events and campus life through the updated Seton Hall Mobile app, according to a University Relations press release.
Integrated into the existing mobile app, Campus Groups allow students to search for organizations, browse events as they previously did on Engage. Students can also use Campus Groups to RSVP for and check in to events, taking over functions previously managed through the Corq app.
The update is designed to simplify how students connect with campus life by positioning the mobile app as a central access point for involvement. While the previous version of the Seton Hall Mobile app required students to navigate to different platforms, all information — from printer locations to the athletics calendar — can now be found in one spot.
“The integration of Campus Groups creates a more unified digital experience, bringing together academics, involvement opportunities and campus communications in a way that is both accessible and user-friendly,” Chief Information Officer Paul Fisher said in a press release.
Student organizations will use Campus Groups just as they used Engage: to promote events and communicate with members.
“Recognized clubs and organization leadership, including fraternities and sororities, will be able to manage their groups in a more seamless way,” Winston Roberts, assistant vice president and dean of student engagement, said in a press release.
Seton Hall Mobile app users are encouraged to update their app to access the new experience.
