The dishwasher in Seton Hall’s Pirate Dining Room is temporarily out of service, forcing GDS to turn to plastic utensils and plates.
Technicians are working on-site to repair the dishwasher.
The dining room, located on the lower level of the Bishop Dougherty University Center, is where resident students, commuter students, faculty and staff dine.
Plastic utensils and plates are being provided to “ensure continued compliance with health and safety standards while maintaining uninterrupted meal service,” University Relations wrote in an email to The Setonian.
The equipment may be down for two to three days.
