Myles Powell is known as the go-to scorer for Seton Hall, but it was the other Myles who stepped up on offense to help guide Seton Hall to an important 78-74 victory over Maryland on Saturday.
On Friday, the Seton Hall women’s basketball team was able to complete an impressive comeback effort, as they defeated UNC Greensboro, 71-64, in the last non-conference game of the season. The win wrapped up the West Palm Beach Invitational for the Pirates, as they went 1-1.
The Seton Hall women’s basketball team fell to Georgia Tech, 84-73, on Thursday afternoon in the first of two games at the West Palm Beach Invitational. Despite the final score, however, the Pirates put together an all-around solid performance against the Yellow Jackets.
Fresh off two big wins and with Big 10 opponent Maryland looming on the schedule, it would’ve been easy for Seton Hall to overlook a Sacred Heart team that entered Wednesdaynight’s game without a KenPom Top 200 win to its name.
