Edwin on board for 2010

The Paterson Catholic connection between Fuquan Edwin and sophomore guard Jordan Theodore can soon continue at the collegiate level.Edwin signed on to become the first member of head coach Bobby Gonzalez's 2010 recruiting class last week, choosing the Hall over Providence according to several local media sources.The six-foot-six-inch forward is entering his senior season at Paterson Catholic, the defending Passaic County champions, and had played with Theodore during his (Edwin's) underclassman years."Position wise, I'm going to be a two/three, and I'm going to pick up right after Jeremy Hazell," Edwin said in an interview on Zagsblog.com.Edwin, nicknamed "The Finisher" by local recruiting media, averaged 15.5 points per game last season.Brian Wisowaty can be reached at brian.wisowaty@student.shu.edu.

Assistant women's basketball coach Marlin Chinn has left the team for the same position at the University of Maryland, as announced by Terrapins head coach Brenda Frese on Tuesday.

Hidden gem of the Hall

The Richie Regan Recreational Center is home to the finest exercise and recreational facilities on campus. Located just behind the library on Seton Drive, the "Rec Center" allows the students of Seton Hall to stay in shape with full use of five basketball courts, a track, gym, racquetball court, sauna, and pool.

Pirates soccer looking for '09 turnarounds

The 2009 soccer seasons seem promising in the wake of nationally recognized recruits joining the Hall. The men's and women's soccer teams ended their seasons at 6-8-4 (2-5-4) and 5-11-2 (1-9-1) respectively and are looking for the chance to compete in the Big East Tournament and beyond this year.
