Men's soccer on verge of worst season

Two games remain on the Pirates' schedule and they have a chance to make the wrong kind of history. If they lose to No.5 Connecticut and No. 14 Notre Dame, this year's men's soccer team will be the first in school history to lose every game in Big East play.

The Big East Conference is one of the most storied conferences in the history of college basketball. Aside from the six national champions the conference has produced, the conference produced a record 11 schools in the 2011 NCAA Tournament, breaking their own record of seven from 2010.

Pirates close season in Piscataway

In an intense finish to the regular season, the Seton Hall women's soccer team will face the Rutgers Scarlet Knights on the road this Friday in a game that could decide the playoff fates of both squads.

TCU to leave Big East for Big 12

Scheduled to join the Big East in all sports at the beginning of the 2012-13 school year, TCU is now reported to have accepted membership into the Big 12 conference.
