Men’s soccer looks to climb in the Big East as they host Providence

The Seton Hall women’s team completed action at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Northeast Championship at Yale on Sunday, earning victories in both singles and doubles play.

Seton Hall women’s soccer were unable to snap a six game-winless streak as they settled for a scoreless tie after against Villanova University on Sunday afternoon.
Senior midfielder Andrew LoManto’s score in the 69th minute helped the Seton Hall University men's soccer team shock Georgetown, 1-0, on Saturday afternoon at Owen T. Carroll Field. It was the Pirates’ first Big East win of the season.
After a hard-fought win against Creighton on Friday, the women’s volleyball team moved into sole possession of first place in the Big East. The team is set to take on Georgetown today at 5 p.m.

The Pirates defeated Columbia 1-0 on Wednesday. The shutout is the blue and white’s fourth of the season, all with sophomore Julian Spindler holding the fort in goal.
Following a sixth-place performance at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate, the Seton Hall men’s golf team will put a cap on its fall season at the Temple Invitational this weekend.
Seton Hall women’s soccer (3-7-3) will look to build off of the momentum from Amanda Gulli’s goal against Creighton last weekend when they take on Xavier (3-9-2) on Sunday, Oct. 12.
After an improvement at the West Point Invitational, the Pirates’ tennis team heads to Navy this weekend.

The Seton Hall men’s golf team finished sixth at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate on Tuesday morning. Junior New Jersey native, Ryan Snouffer led the Pirates as he finished tied for eighth overall.
The Seton Hall Pirates men and women’s swimming and diving teams will open the 2014-15 season on Wednesday, Oct. 8 as the Pirates take on rival-Montclair.
The Pirates finished first on Tuesday at the St. John’s Invitational with a 15-stroke team victory. The first place finish is the team’s second on the season, previously finishing in first at the team’s season-opening invitational, the Bucknell Bison Invitational a month ago on Sept. 7. Freshmen Cassie Pantelas led the Pirate’s second win this fall, and secured her first career title.
