Women's hoops WNIT run ends in Piscataway

The Seton Hall women's basketball team's historic season came to an end last Thursday after suffering a heartbreaking double-overtime loss to in-state rival Rutgers in the third round of the 2014 WNIT.

For the last four basketball seasons, senior Gabe DeTolla has donned the Seton Hall Pirate costume and helped the cheerleaders and fans root for the basketball teams.  If it weren't for his sense of humor, he may not have even stayed at the University.

Rivalry revisited

The Seton Hall women's basketball team will play its first third-round WNIT game in program history when it takes on in-state rival and former Big East foe, Rutgers University on Thursday at 7 p.m.
