Seton Hall will play three rounds starting next Monday at Saint Andrew’s Golf Club in Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y.
The Pirates’ men’s golf wrapped up play in Lorton, Va., this weekend at the Patriot Intercollegiate. The blue and white were held to fourth place behind James Madison, Marshall, and Missouri University.
The Seton Hall women’s golf team registered a fourth place finish at the Yale Women’s Intercollegiate in New Haven, Conn.
The Pirates’ women’s tennis team closed out play at the West Point Invitational on Sunday. The three-day invitational saw some strong individual performances from blue and white veterans and program newcomers.
After dropping their Big East opener Saturday against DePaul, the Pirates (2-3-2) will look for a bounce back win as they continue their road trip Tuesday to take on non-conference opponent, the Drexel Dragons.
The Seton Hall volleyball team will return home on Wednesday night as they host local Rival St. Johns at Walsh Gym at 7 p.m. The Pirates are fresh off a 3-1 win at Villanova, as they improved to 2-0 in The Big East and 12-3 overall. The Hall has won six straight matches and is looking to continue the early Big East success. SHU has lost just one set in two league matches. “It’s very important (to continue the success), playing St. Johns is a huge match,” head coach Allison Yaeger said. “It always is every year and it’s very likely that we go to five (sets) with them. They are a very similar team that we are and every Big East match is important especially home matches.”
Men and women’s cross country had solid performances from underclassmen leading the Hall to second place finishes at the ASICS Embry-Riddle Classic.
