SGA changes election ticket policy

The Student Government Association (SGA) will be changing the way they handle tickets during elections. In the past, senate tickets could affiliate themselves with an executive board ticket. However, due to the new policy change, executive board tickets and senate tickets must be separated. They will no longer be able to run as one big ticket.

Board announces 2020 Emma Quartaro Woman of the Year award

The Woman of the Year Committee has selected Dr. Cecilia Marzabadi as the recipient of the 2020 Woman of the Year Award. Formally known as the Emma Quartaro Woman of the Year Award, this award recognizes women of the Seton Hall University community who are successful leaders and who honor their contributions and commitment to women’s issues.

University to create Division of University Relations

The University is currently developing the Division of University Relations, which will combine the existing departments of Government Relations and Public Relations and Marketing. Interim Vice President for University Advancement Matthew Borowick has been appointed as the head of the division.

SHUNA ranks 12th in the nation

According to the website, Best Delegate for Model United Nations, Seton Hall University’s United Nations Association (SHUNA) has recently ranked 12th in the nation ahead of Columbia, Yale and Princeton for their Model United Nations team.

The first winter storm of the season wreaked havoc across the northeast region Dec. 1 and 2, causing thousands of flight delays, hundreds of cancellations and hundreds of miles of traffic across the region during two of the busiest travel days of the year.
