Seton Hall to lift mask mandate

Seton Hall's indoor mask mandate is set to expire Tuesday, March 1, according to the Health Intervention and Communication Team in an email sent out to the Seton Hall community Thursday afternoon.

The University said it came to a decision "Following the greatly improved public health statistics" and citing Seton Hall’s "low case counts and high level of vaccination, and updated government guidance..."

However, faculty are permitted to require students to wear masks in their classes, clinicals, and labs.

At the Interprofessional Health Sciences campus, masking is required due to the Hackensack Meridian Health policy.
