More changes lead to restructure

More changes are occurring to the administrative positions at Seton Hall.

Sister Paula Marie Buley has stepped down at her request from the position of Executive Vice President for Administration, as announced via a university broadcast e-mail on Monday from Msgr. Robert Sheeran.

Buley has held the position for the last five years.

Also in the e-mail, Sheeran announced immediate changes to various departments throughout the university. He has placed Dr. Gabriel Esteban, the school's Provost, in authority of Admissions, Financial Aid, and the Registrar.

There is also a new general chain of command for the offices of the Bursar, Finance and Technology, Student Affairs, and Human Resources.

Athletics, meanwhile, will report to the Dean of the School of Law, Patrick Hobbs, who in turn will report to the president.

Editor's Note: In the original story posting, the article was incorrectly worded while describing Buley's request, her own, to step down from the Executive Vice President of Administration position. The Setonian regrets the error and has since corrected it in the story.
