While many of the fall sports teams have struggled to stay relevant, Seton Hall’s men and women’s swimming and diving team have kept on winning. The Pirates will host Big East-rival Providence on Saturday as they look to continue their early success.

The Pirates dropped their second straight match tonight, falling in straight sets to the Butler Bulldogs (25-23, 25-14, 25-23).
On a gorgeous Saturday afternoon at Owen T. Carroll Field, the Seton Hall Pirates (4-7-3) fell short to the #23 team in the nation, the Providence College Friars (8-2-2) in a 3-0 match.

The Seton Hall women’s team completed action at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Northeast Championship at Yale on Sunday, earning victories in both singles and doubles play.

Seton Hall women’s soccer were unable to snap a six game-winless streak as they settled for a scoreless tie after against Villanova University on Sunday afternoon.
Senior midfielder Andrew LoManto’s score in the 69th minute helped the Seton Hall University men's soccer team shock Georgetown, 1-0, on Saturday afternoon at Owen T. Carroll Field. It was the Pirates’ first Big East win of the season.
After a hard-fought win against Creighton on Friday, the women’s volleyball team moved into sole possession of first place in the Big East. The team is set to take on Georgetown today at 5 p.m.

The Pirates defeated Columbia 1-0 on Wednesday. The shutout is the blue and white’s fourth of the season, all with sophomore Julian Spindler holding the fort in goal.
