University alumni subject of recent survey

Alumni Relations' October 2009 survey of graduates yielded over 1,600 responses that identified three areas of alumni engagement to focus on; alumni communications, volunteerism and regional alumni chapters.

Wondering what to do this winter season? Why not visit New York City where you can experience a winter wonderland at its finest. Even before the snowflakes fall, the city begins its Christmas celebration lifting everyone's spirits and warming their hearts. You can get to the city simply by taking the Dover Line at the South Orange Train Station which takes you to Penn Station. You can exit at 7th Ave and 34th St.

FALSE ASSAULT?

An 18-year-old freshman has been charged with fabricating the sexual assault incident that was reported to have occurred on the Seton Hall campus on Nov. 16.

Public Safety increases security campus-wide

An exit lift gate and restrictions on entering campus through Farinella Gate have been implemented by Public Safety and Security in response to the alleged on-campus sexual assault that was reported by a University student on Nov. 17.

University continues effort to improve internet

While some students have been complaining of slow internet access in their dormitories, the University is taking steps to improve the internet function through its conversion to wireless, and have recently replaced the connection of the wireless bridge in Turrell Manor and installed new wireless access points in Neumann Hall.

In efforts to raise money for DOVE's Haiti Program, Freshman Studies sponsored the Hoops for Haiti event in the Walsh Gym on Nov. 17.

Crew lifts Hall over Army

The women's basketball team defeated the Army Black Knights on Tuesday night by the score of 50-40. This marks the Pirate's second victory in a row after beating Massachusetts on Nov. 21, improving their season record to 3-2.

U.N. secretary general delivers address to University community

Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-Moon joined a distinguished group of world leaders when he delivered a major, end-of-the-year policy address to the Seton Hall community as a part of the John C. Whitehead School of International Relations and Diplomacy's World Leaders Forum on Nov. 22.

UN Secretary General to give end of year address at Seton Hall

Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-Moon will give a major policy address to the Seton Hall community as the featured speaker of the Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations' World Leaders Forum and will receive an honorary degree to the University on Nov. 22.
