The "Best Pop Vocal Album" category has always been highly-anticipated at the Grammy Awards and 2011 appears to be no different. The nominees this year are Justin Bieber ("My World 2.0"), Susan Boyle ("I Dreamed a Dream"), Lady Gaga ("The Fame Monster"), John Mayer ("Battle Studies") and Katy Perry ("Teenage Dream").

Emerging spring fashion trends: less is more

Spring fashion is most commonly associated with intricate patterns, numerous floral pieces and bright pastel colors. While these looks are still present in the Spring 2011 shows from fashion week in New York, another more classic look has played a role in this season's trends.

Girl Talk ringleader of his circus

Girl Talk (aka Greg Gillis) delivered his mash-up virtuosity to a sold-out crowd at Montclair's Wellmont Theatre. The show marked the final date in his four-month tour, although Gillis will return to the road on Feb. 24 to kick off another slew of shows.

And the Grammy goes to: Record of the Year

Among the multitude of awards given out at the 53rd Grammy Awards, one of the most prestigious awards, Record of the Year, will be won by a deserving artist. The category has been awarded since 1959, with recent winning records that include "Rehab" by Amy Winehouse, "Use Somebody" by Kings of Leon and "Here We Go Again" by Ray Charles and Norah Jones.

Year of the Rabbit

As a longstanding tradition celebrating the Chinese New Year, China Night is an opportunity for students to learn about Asian culture. The event will begin at 7 p.m. in the Jubilee Hall auditorium with instrumental and dance performances from Seton Hall students, The King's Arts and Dance Studio and Ziran Martial Arts. Asian cuisine will be prepared by the Chinese Student Association.

Besides football, the Super Bowl is known – even infamous – for its halftime show. In 2004, the country was abuzz over the notorious Janet Jackson scandal. The result was six Super Bowls with only performances featuring artists from older generations; that was, until now.

Thomas Mallon's new book, "Yours Ever: People and their Letters," is a sophisticated telling of several short histories, punctuated by the correspondences of those who lived them out. Though frustrating at times in the briefness of these letters, Mallon's book provides a look into the lives of many figures in history and literature.

Sleuthing saints return to the Hall

Audiences were treated to several excellent performances last weekend as the Celtic Theater Company came together in the theater in the round for the fifth annual Saints & Sleuths program. Hosted by the Center for Catholic Studies and the G.K. Chesterton Institute for Faith and Culture, Saints & Sleuths is a collection of dramatic readings adapted by John Dandola and Dr. James McGlone and performed by the distinguished members of the Celtic Theater Company.

Idol hits high note

All summer, "American Idol" fans across the country waited impatiently for the hit show to announce the new panel of judges for its 10th season. On Jan.19, the new season of "American Idol" premiered with its two new judges, Steven Tyler of Aerosmith and singer/actress/entrepreneur Jennifer Lopez.

Two Door Cinema Club steals show

The "indie-pop" genre often conjures images of an emaciated singer in an ugly sweatshirt, singing sugary pop songs in an off-kilter voice. That annoying Hyundai Sonata commercial featuring Pomplamoose's (yes, that's their name) take on "Jingle Bells" encapsulates the good and bad aspects of the genre: it is original, sometimes annoying and altogether harmless.
