Meet our 102nd Editorial Board

Dominique Mercadante, Editor-in-Chief, and Sofia Kasbo, Managing Editor, are excited to officially announce The Setonian’s 102nd Editorial Board.

Since 1924, The Setonian has served as the voice for the Seton Hall community, capturing our victories, our struggles, and our unwavering commitment “to inform” and “to serve” those around us.

Last year, our previous editorial board released a centennial magazine in the spring. This semester, The Setonian will return to a traditional newspaper format for four special editions: two in the fall and two in the spring. Our first print edition will be released on Oct. 27. While we piece this project together, articles will be published daily on our website.

As we look ahead to this year, we’re eager to continue telling the stories that matter most to our community.

The head editors of the 102nd Editorial Board are senior Dominique Mercadante as the Editor-in-Chief, senior Sofia Kasbo as the Managing Editor, junior Megan Pitt as the News Editor, senior Rhyleigh Russell as the Features Editor, senior Zachary Mawby as the Sports Editor, junior Calla Patino as the Opinion Editor, junior Julianna Caliri as the Photography Editor, and junior Grace Tylee as the Social Media Editor.

The assistant editors are sophomore Kaelyn Blizard as the Assistant News Editor, sophomore Lakyn Austin as the Assistant Features Editor, junior Jaden Highsmith and senior Christian Hui as the Assistant Sports Editors, sophomore Ashley Smith as the Assistant Opinion Editor, junior Lianna Cruz as the Assistant Photography Editor, and senior Morgan Dence and junior Emma Noriega as Assistant Social Media Editors.

The copy editors are senior Jacqueline Litowinsky and junior Grace Tylee. Jacqueline will also be managing The Setonian’s sports account on X.com. Senior Natalia Triscari is our Advertising Manager and junior Keira Bala is our Videographer.

The Voice is intended to best represent the collective opinion of The Editorial Board. It is written by The Setonian’s Editor-in-Chief.
