Scoreboard to be installed this week at Owen T. Carroll

A reminder was sent out to students on Wednesday about the installation of the new Owen T. Carroll Field scoreboard from Facilities and Operations.

The installation will start on today and will continue on Friday. There will be a break over the weekend and the scoreboard is scheduled to be finished on Monday.

According to the email sent out by Facilities, there will be some closures of walkways during the day around the area.

"Although the Wilden Avenue pedestrian walkway will be open, there will be intermittent closures during each day while steel is being lifted into place," Facilities said.

Facilities said they urge residents to use the Ward Gate during this time.

Today there will be additional closures along Seton Drive.

"As the steel is being delivered, there will be temporary lane closures along Seton Drive in the area adjacent to the work," the email said.

Facilities said students and faculty should park cars on South Orange Avenue during this time and use the main gate.
