Seton Hall defeated Alabama, 83-78, in its first game of the 2010 Paradise Jam at the University of the Virgin Islands in St. Thomas.
Senior Jeremy Hazell led all scorers with 27 points.
Junior Herb Pope added 13 points, while senior Jeff Robinson netted 14 and junior Jordan Theodore scored 11.
