Seton Hall leads No. 8 Georgetown at the half

At the end of the first half Seton Hall leads No. 8 Georgetown Hoyas 35-28 at the Prudential Center.

Senior Jordan Theodore leads all players with 12 points to go along with his three assists. Freshman Brandon Mobley has eight points off the bench for the Hall while senior Herb Pope has six points and four rebounds.

The Pirates closed out the first half on a 8-4 run to give them the seven point lead.

Freshman Jabril Trawick gave Georgetown a 16-15 lead with a 3-pointer with 9:07 remaining in the first half.

On the Pirates possession sophomore Patrik Auda found freshman Brandon Mobley under the basket for a dunk starting a 7-0 run by the Hall capped off with Theodore making a 3-pointer.

The Hoyas responded to tie the game at 22-22 with senior Jason Clark making a shot from beyond the arc.

With the game tied sophomore Fuquan Ediwn hit a 3-pointer that gave the Hall the lead for the rest of the half.

The Pirates held a 33-26 lead after Theodore hit a 3-pointer but a layup from freshman Otto Porter with seven seconds left cut the lead to 33-28.

With the clock running Theodore took the ball the full length of the court and drew a foul on the layup attempt to give him two shots with one second left, making both.
