Gonzo is gone

Bobby Gonzalez has been removed as the head coach of the Seton Hall men's basketball team, as announced via Seton Hall Athletics and University President Msgr. Robert Sheeran via broadcast e-mail on Wednesday afternoon.


Pirates raided in NIT opener

In a match up that pitted two of the top conferences in college basketball, the No. 4 Seton Hall men's basketball team was eliminated from the National Invitational Tournament when they lost to No. 5 Texas Tech of the Big 12, 87-69, at Prudential Center on Tuesday.


"The Time Has Expired"

No longer on the bubble

With a shot before the buzzer just falling out of the basket, in overtime, the Pirates' fell to the Marquette Golden Eagles, Sunday February 28, by a score of 84-83.


Hall still has a lot to play for in final week

When Seton Hall and Rutgers take the floor Thursday night at the Louis Brown Athletic Center, a history of close games will be in their favor. The last seven times the two teams have competed, the game has either gone to overtime or been won by a margin no greater than six.
