Theodore charged with weapons posession

A South Orange/Maplewood judge ruled Tuesday there was probable cause that Seton Hall guard Jordan Theodore was in possession of a handgun on school grounds following the Villanova-Seton Hall game at the Prudential Center on Feb. 15, according to ZagsBlog.com.

No success on senior night

The women's basketball team (8-21, 1-15) dropped their final conference game to Rutgers (18-11, 11-5) on Monday, 71-47, concluding their second straight Big East finish with a one in the win column.

Hall downed by Irish

The Seton Hall Men's basketball team led No. 9 Notre Dame by as many as eleven points in the first half but dropped another conference game on the road 60-48.

Hazell breaks record but not the Golden Eagles

The Hall's second straight loss leaves their record at 11-16 (5-10). Six minutes into the game the Pirates took their first lead, 11-10, on a layup by Senior Jeff Robinson.

Late run not enough as Pirates fall to No. 14 Villanova 60-57

Senior Jeremy Hazell's three point shot with seconds remaining bounced off the rim and out as the Pirates fell to the No. 14 Villanova Wildcats 60-57. The Hall finished the game on a 9-3 run but was not enough as their record goes to 11-15 overall and 5-9 in the Big East.

Rematch against Rutgers

After losing to Rutgers for the first time since 2008, the Pirates head to Rutgers on Saturday in a rematch of their 66-60 loss earlier this season. The Scarlet Knights' record is 13-11 overall and 4-8 in Big East games this season.

Pirates fail to climb mountain

The men's basketball team was dropped in Morgantown Wednesday night, 56-44, losing to No. 25 West Virginia for the seventh straight time, dating back to February 2006.

New student section altered

Student sections are normally the most notable part of a college basketball arena, but at the Prudential Center, the students are overshadowed by a tarp that covers first three rows of the section creating a buffer between the students and the opponent's bench.
