Seton Hall disinvites Sid Rosenberg from town hall

Seton Hall University has disinvited controversial American radio personality Sid Rosenberg from a 77 WABC Town Hall planned for March 10 following a student-led social media campaign to cancel Rosenberg’s appearance due to racist public statements from over a decade ago.

SGA hosts strategic planning town hall

​The Student Government Association (SGA) held a town hall meeting on Feb 25 which predominantly centered around Seton Hall’s ongoing strategic plan. Students and faculty had a chance to raise questions about sustainability, accessibility, affordability and many other issues at Seton Hall.

Poll: Students against ‘bring your own device’ program

A recent Setonian poll found that more than half of all respondents did not like the idea of a “bring your own device” laptop program like the one currently being proposed by the University to replace the current mobile computing program provided by Seton Hall. The current program provides full-time students two laptops over the course of eight semesters at $275 per semester.

SGA to host Town Hall

For the Student Government Association (SGA), the typical Town Hall meeting is a platform in which students, faculty members and administrators all gather to discuss the issues facing Seton Hall and often try to remedy them. On Feb. 24th, the theme of the annual Town Hall meeting will be updates on the Strategic Planning Process, according to SGA President Rishi Shah.
