The Jets highs in January turned into lows long before the start to this season
Following a sixth-place performance at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate, the Seton Hall men’s golf team will put a cap on its fall season at the Temple Invitational this weekend.

The Seton Hall volleyball team had not completely swept a weekend entering its fourth and final regular season tournament, the SHU Volleyball Classic. On Saturday night, the Pirates looked like they were heading into the same direction that their first three weekends went by. Senior Shelbey Manthorpe woke the blue and white up, though, and changed all that very quickly.

For the Pirates, 2014 should end with a bang at the Prudential Center. The Pirates will open conference play on New Year’s Eve as part of a five-game Big East marathon when they host metro area rival St. John’s at 12 p.m. ET.
There aren’t many more remarkable experiences than taking the 8:07 p.m. train from New York City and getting off in the small village of South Orange less than an hour later. It’s a daunting change of scenery for a Midwesterner like me, and the two places--the big city and the small village-- couldn’t be more different. But there is one common theme between the two, and it’s a theme that I’ve come to embrace at 400 South Orange Ave. as a student at Seton Hall University.
Even in her freshman season, the pressure of a waiting game was on Tessa Fournier. While Big East Libero of the Year Alyssa Warren breaking Seton Hall’s all-time digs record was a pinnacle moment last season, it only increased the size of the hole at libero for the 2014 campaign. That’s a lot of pressure riding on a second-year player. But Fournier’s been gearing up for the takeover at the position for a long time.
