The Pirates opened their season at the Princeton Invitational at Springdale Golf Club in Princeton, NJ. Alongside The Hall, the likes of Georgetown, Harvard, and Dartmouth were among the 12 teams invited. The Pirates finished 11th overall with a team score of 923. Big East Conference rival Georgetown took first place with an overall score of 862.
