The Seton Hall women’s golf team is currently sitting in fifth place following the first two rounds of play at the 2015 Bucknell Invitational.

The individual leader of the tournament is Seton Hall’s Megan Tenhundfeld. The senior’s day consisted of a 7-over-par, 73-74-147, leading Farleigh Dickinson’s Gabriela Santini by one stroke with 18 holes to play on Sunday. If Tenhundfeld holds her lead, she will become just the fifth individual winner in Seton Hall history.
As a team the Pirates shot a 67-over-par, 313-314-627, a distant 20 strokes behind tournament leader Farleigh Dickinson.
Of the 15-team field, St. John’s is only one other representative from the Big East conference. The Hall is 14 strokes ahead of the Red Storm heading into the final round.
The tournament also includes host Bucknell, Fairleigh Dickinson, Kutztown, Lehigh, LIU, Monmouth, Niagara, Princeton, Richmond, Saint Francis (Pa.), St. Francis (N.Y.), Siena, and Valparaiso.
In addition to Tenhundfeld, Seton Hall had six other team members competing Saturday afternoon. Cassie Pantelas, the only individual winner on the current roster, is in a tie for 16th place with a 67-over-par, 313-314-627.
Freshman Gianna Tomeo and Jamie Green both made their debut for the Blue and White. They shot a 28-over par, 80-88-168 and 35-over par, 93-82-175, respectively.
Macky Fouse fired a 20-over-par, 82-78-160, third-best on the team. Karlie Zabrosky shot a 26-over par, 85-81-166 while graduate student McKenzie Cutter chipped in with a 29-over-par, 83-86-169.
The Pirates will resume play tomorrow in the final round of the 2015 Bucknell Invitational. Start time is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. at the Bucknell Golf Club.
