Two dead and six injured in off-campus shooting near Rutgers University

An off-campus shooting near Rutgers University’s New Brunswick campus left two dead and six injured Sunday morning. According to the Middlesex County Prosector’s Office, there does not appear to be any affiliation between the shooting and Rutgers University or its students.

The shooting, which the New Brunswick Police Department (NBPD) responded to at 1:18 a.m. on Sept. 13 at 32 Delafield Street, is now under investigation by the NBPD and the County Prosecutor’s Office.
