    Seton Hall has named Allison Yaeger the new head coach of the volleyball team on Monday, according to Athletic Director Patrick Lyons. "We're very excited to have Allison as the next head coach of our volleyball program," Lyons said.  "As someone who has been involved with the program over the last five years and has been instrumental in our recent success, we feel confident that she will hit the ground running in an effort to continue moving our program forward.

      The Seton Hall head volleyball coach has resigned, according to a press release from Assistant Di­rector of Athletics/ Communica­tions Matt Sweeney. Kris Zeiter, who has spent the last six years at the Hall, an­nounced that he is leaving "to spend more time with his family and examine a possible move out West.

    The Seton Hall head women's volleyball coach has resigned from his position at the University, according to Assistant Director of Athletics/Communications Matt Sweeney. Kris Zeiter, who has spent the last six years at the Hall, is leaving to spend more time with his family.

  • Meghan Matusiak Volleyball loses in Big East tourney quarterfinals

    The Seton Hall volleyball team's season came to abrupt close on Friday night when they lost their Big East quarterfinal matchup with the Marquette Golden Eagles, 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-23). The Pirates finish their season with a 17-13 record. Senior Meghan Matusiak, last week's Big East Player of the Week, recorded 14 kills and 12 digs in the last game of her career for the Pirates.

    he Seton Hall volleyball team defeated Connecticut 3-2 on Senior Day to clinch a spot in the BIG EAST tournament for the third straight season. Seton Hall overcame an early lead by the Huskies to win the first set 25-22, led by five kills from senior opposite hitter Meghan Matusiak.

    The Seton Hall volleyball team defeated both St. John's and Con­necticut this weekend to clinch a spot in the Big East Champion­ship for the third straight season. "It's an amazing feeling to make it again, after missing out freshmen year," senior Meghan Matusiak said.

      The Seton Hall volleyball team split their final road trip of the season, falling 3-1 to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturday (25-19, 22-25, 25-22, 25-17), but rebounded to defeat the DePaul Blue Demons 3-0 (25-23, 25-9, 26-24) in Chicago on Sunday.

      The volleyball team travels to Notre Dame and DePaul this weekend, attempting to solidify its place in the Big East Tourna­ment. While the Pirates currently sit in the eighth and final play­off spot with an even 5-5 record, Notre Dame is 6-4, landing the Fighting Irish in sixth place.
