Basketball recruit arrested for assault

Aquille Carr committed to playing basketball at Seton Hall in the 2013 season.

Seton Hall commit, Aquille Carr, was arrested on assault charges at 8 a.m. Friday, according to an article from the Baltimore Sun.

The rising senior guard at Patterson High School committed to play at Seton Hall beginning in the 2013 season in January.

Carr, 18, is being held on $50,000 bond on a confirmed arrest on charges of second degree assault and reckless endangerment.

According to the article, Carr is scheduled to compete in the Under Armour Elite 24 high school basketball event on Friday Aug. 24 and Saturday Aug. 25 in Venice Beach, Calif.
