Car ignites in the parking deck

A car caught fire in the Seton Hall University parking deck on Feb. 20 at 9:31 a.m., according to an email from Laurie Pine, director of Media Relations. Pine said that no one was injured in the fire and the blaze was tamed by Public Safety with fire extinguishers until the South Orange Fire Department (SOFD) arrived and fully extinguished it. Public Safety deferred comment to the South Orange Fire Department. The SOFD has not released any details about the cause of the fire as of Wednesday night.
