RIPPLE Update

[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="456"] bizbahrain.com[/caption] Seton Hall’s trial run of the Coca-Cola Company’s RIPPLE initiative has lost its momentum as the trial run is completed at the end of the fall 2015 semester. Michael Garcia, director of Business Affairs, said in an email interview that there will be an estimated 1,700 individual donations made by the end of the semester. The estimated sum of total donations is $34, compared to the reported donation update of $29.36 on the morning of Sept. 28. SHU members were asked to donate two cents after purchasing a Coca-Cola product to help support EKOCENTER African communities and projects that work toward economic empowerment for women and safe drinking water initiatives. “There needs to be constant communication to the community so that the energy regarding any promotion is not lost as the amount of information that one comes across on a daily basis is great and one’s attention is diverted constantly,” Garcia said.
