A lot might be going on in your life, whether it be juggling an internship, work, vacation, classes, naps or all the above. So let’s get this straight from the start: prioritizing your time over the summer is important. It might not matter whether you have a busy schedule for the week or not. There are a number of ways to give enough time to both responsibilities and fun activities during the summer. Let’s say that you are trying to make enough time to socialize even if you work a lot of hours during the week. While, it may appear like dividing enough time to hang out with friends and work is stressful, it’s not entirely impossible. Save some time during the weekends or a few hours during the days which you are not working to spend some quality time with your friends. There might not be enough time to go on a long road trip, but don’t let that stop you from going out to lunch or down the shore with a few friends. Through taking the simple steps to plan ahead, you can avoid stress. It might be useful to list activities or things that need to get done as a reminder, whether it’s daily or weekly. An actual calendar or your smartphone’s apps can be easily accessible and useful when planning on what to do and when to do it. A simple schedule could teach smart time management and allow you to find the best time to go on vacation. The case may be that you’re trying to find the right time to go on vacation with family or friends. Whether it’s a weekend or week-long getaway, use this summer to relax and soak up some sun before the fall semester begins. It’s important for you and your friends or family to have a set date and place to go on vacation or else these plans might fall apart. Remember Pirates, to set time aside to spend time with your loved ones even if some days might appear too stressful. Keep in mind that there is only 24 hours in a day and you might not get everything done, but if you plan out and prioritize your time wisely then the things you set out to do will be accomplished.
