Learn DIY Valentine’s treats

An easy way to make your date smile is creating a Post-it heart. This is a great way to show your appreciation for your special someone. All you will need is a black marker, pink or red Postit notes and a place to stick your notes.

First, on your Post-it notes, use a black marker to write out all of the things you admire about your date.

Then, make sure that you have created enough to mold into the size heart of your choosing.

Lastly, stick the Post-it notes into the shape of a heart in a spot that your special someone will see it, like on a wall, mirror or door.

Another way to win over your date is to create something that is useful, like a Sharpie mug. This is a great way to showcase how your feel about your date while making something that is for everyday use. You will need a mug in the color of your choosing (lighter colors work best), an oil-based paint Sharpie marker and an oven.

First, you will you will draw onto the mug the quote or design of your choosing. Afterwards, you will let the mug dry for a few hours or sit overnight. Then, you will preheat your oven to 350 degrees and bake your mug for 30 minutes.

Or if you are looking for a creative way to incorporate food, red velvet cupcakes might be the way to go. Red velvet cupcakes are perfect because they fit the theme of Valentine’s Day with their dark red and give the anticipated satisfaction of cocoa that your date will love.

A simple way to create this treat is through any red velvet box cake mix which can be purchased at any supermarket.

Once they have finished cooking, let them cool off and then, you make decorate them to your liking. Make the most of your Valentine’s Day and use these ideas to make your special someone smile.
