Why is everything so quiet just before Spring Fling?

Last spring, students attended a popular combination of GrooveBoston and a concert from artist B.O.B.

The year before, almost half the semester students were abuzz about the arrival of performer J. Cole, another successful concert.

Once again, it is Spring Fling. Traditionally there is usually a comedian and a carnival, along with other fun events planned for the end of the year.

The only public evidence of Spring Fling so far seems to be the under publicized posters, featuring a graphic of some carnival desserts and a small photo of a band that has not been nearly as promoted as the last two.

This year’s performer is For The Foxes. Who are they? Why should we attend this weekend?

For current seniors, freshman year’s Spring Fling was successful and low key, sporting a jungle theme but no major concert.

Does this year have a theme?

Judging from the posters, there doesn’t seem to be one.

Seniors have other events to attend during senior week, leading up to the excitement of graduation.

For other students, Spring Fling is a time to wind down and have fun before finals.

If we should be there this year, why haven’t we been told?
