Student commuters have had different experiences with trucks that have been delivering slabs for the parking deck.
Sophomore Ciarra Hayes said, "I come in through the main entrance, so I really don't see any trucks or construction."
Sophomore Jeanette Alvarez, who commutes from Staten Island every day, said the trucks affect her.
"Between construction constantly happening on roads throughout the state and the construction on campus, I find myself leaving my house much earlier than I need to just to prepare for any trouble these trucks might cause me," Alvarez said.
However, the trucks are less of a concern for Alvarez than parking. She said her main problem still is finding parking on campus.
