Food claim clarified by student

On March 4, student Kayelyn Dyson told the Setonian she and her friend allegedly found what she described as a "worm" in the broccoli she was eating in the Dining Hall cafeteria.

According to Provost and Executive Vice President Dennis Garbini, Dyson was not the student who reported the worm to Gourmet Dining Services.

Garbini said student Maria Desantis came forward and took responsibility for the claim, denying the supposed worm moved, originally claimed by Dyson.

"It was admirable that she (Desantis) came in," Theresa Deehan, director of Business Affairs said.

Both the Setonian and the University have been unable to reach Dyson for comment.
