SHUFLY reloaded

SHUFLY's schedule has changed for Spring 2014, and an addition shuttle bus has been added during heavy travel periods.

According to Parking Services manager Ann Szipszky, the changes will make the service more convenient for the Seton Hall community.

The second shuttle bus will run between 3:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. and again at 11:30 p.m. after the late evening break. This was done because it was noticed "that at 11:30 p.m. more students were trying to get back to campus from the train station," Szipszky said.

The SHUFLY has also cut its drivers' breaks from 90 minutes to 30 minutes. Now after breaks, drivers will immediately head to the South Orange train station to pick up students and then return to campus. Then it will continue its usual route. This schedule also will be followed during the 11 p.m. shuttle route.

"We listened to our riders' concerns and have increased our service to the community," Szipszky said.

Szipszky said that Parking Services will continue to evaluate its service to the Seton Hall community.
