Transportation to the airport must be provided

With the end of the semester just around the corner, students are beginning to plan their trips back home for the summer. Although many students live close by so they can drive, take a train or bus back home, other students are not that close.

As a result, students have to take an airplane home; however, currently Seton Hall does not provide shuttle services to the major airports within the area before breaks.

The Student Government Association members have tried to remedy the problem. Currently, SGA members are working on a survey to gather students' opinions on the matter. We applaud SGA members for trying to push Seton Hall administrators to provide shuttle services to local airports for students who are traveling home during break.

For students, it can be costly as well as time-consuming to find a way to get to the airport. If shuttle services were provided to the airport at the beginning of breaks, it would make traveling more convenient for students.

As students wrap up classwork, homework and prepare for finals, if shuttle services were provided, it would be one less piece of stress that students would not have to deal with.

Seton Hall should definitely consider some way to help students reach the airport safely.
