Cosby to transfer

Sophomore guard Aaron Cosby has left the men's basketball team and will peruse transfer opportunities, head coach Kevin Willard announced on Monday.

"We want to thank Aaron for his two years in a Seton Hall uniform," Willard said in a statement. "We wish him luck in his future endeavors."

Cosby started 27 games for the Pirates this past season averaging 12.6 points per game and 3.0 assists per game, both second on the team.

In only two seasons, Cosby will leave the Hall in a tie for 13th on the career 3-pointers made list with 132.

Cosby's departure creates more uncertainty going into next season with seemingly no incoming recruits after Aquille Carr announced he was going to play overseas and Jerron Wilbut was charged of armed robbery.
