Seton Hall trails by nine at the half

Following a script much like last night, the Pirates go into the locker room at half trailing, this time to Rhode Island 32-23.

The Hall turned the ball over six times in the half while shooting 39.1 percent from the field. Leading the team is junior Eugene Teague with 12 points on 5-8 shooting. Junior Fuquan Edwin, who has led the scoring in all three games, went to the bench midway through the half due to foul trouble and only three points.

At the eight minute mark of the half the score was tied at 14-14 before a 13-0 run from Rhode Island put the Hall behind.

Last night the Pirates trailed by 16 at the half before coming back and forcing overtime.
