Up and coming musician Into It. Over It. to perform in Cove

Cherry Hill, N.J. native, Even Weiss-also known by his stage name Into It. Over it.-will be coming back to his Jersey roots to play a show in the Pirate's Cove on Monday.

Weiss released a new album "Proper" in September and Monday's show will be the second in the about-to-be-launched leg of his tour to support it.

"I have been on tour about 12 months straight so, at this point a show is a show," Weiss said. "But even so, Seton Hall should be cool."

Now based out of Chicago, Weiss said that, while tours can sometimes be taxing, he is excited to get back to New Jersey.

"I haven't really had a chance to play too many New Jersey shows with it ['Proper']," he said. "I have played New York and Philadelphia so this should be fun."

While the name Into it. Over it. may be confusing, Weiss plays-and tours- alone. At the Cove, Weiss will be accompanied by Seton Hall-based band Ackley Kid.

"It's cool 'cause I am always touring alone," he said. "It is just me performing so generally I drive alone in my '94 Dodge Intrepid from place to place to play my music."

The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be free for Seton Hall students.
