Seton Hall names Allison Yaeger new volleyball coach

Seton Hall has named Allison Yaeger the new head coach of the volleyball team on Monday, according to Athletic Director Patrick Lyons.

"We're very excited to have Allison as the next head coach of our volleyball program," Lyons said. "As someone who has been involved with the program over the last five years and has been instrumental in our recent success, we feel confident that she will hit the ground running in an effort to continue moving our program forward."

Yaeger has been with the program for the last five years serving as an assistant to former head coach Kris Zeiter, who resigned from his position last month.

Prior to coming to Seton Hall, Yaeger was an assistant at Binghamton for two seasons and severed as an undergraduate assistant at Wright State, her alma-mater, for the 2004-05 volleyball season.

During her time at Wright State, Yaeger played libero and outside hitter for the Raiders and ranks third in school history with 1,319 digs. In her senior season she was selected as an honorable mention AVCA All-American along with being named Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year.
