Seton Hall holds big halftime lead against DePaul

In the Seton Hall men's basketball team's first game as a ranked team in over 10 years the Pirates lead the DePaul Blue Demons 51-34 at halftime.

Sophomore Fuquan Edwin has tied his career high for points in a game, which he set on Saturday, with 24 points in the half. Edwin has made 9-12 shots including three three-point baskets.

Senior Jordan Theodore also has double figure points with 13 while dishing out 6 assists.

Leading DePaul is sophomore Cleveland Melvin with 8 points on 3-10 shooting.

As a team the Hall is shooting 60.6 percent from the field compared to DePaul only converting on 23.4 percent of their shots.

The Pirates jumped out to an early 10-2 lead over the Blue Demons and have never relinquished the lead.

Right before the first half came to an end the Pirates held their largest lead with a 20 point advantage before DePaul's sophomore Brandon Young hit a buzzer beater three to end the half.
